Two Stories from Inquirer.net and PhilStar.com came out today telling the story of the number 1 passer in the recently released result of the October 2015 CPA Board Exams.
I wish there more stories that are not just focused on who got the highest score but oh well, we'll take what we can get.

Dagupan Graduate tops CPA Board
DAGUPAN CITY—Ralley Paragas was ecstatic when his sister woke him up about 2 a.m. on Friday to inform him that he topped this year’s licensure examinations for certified public accountants (CPA).
“It has not actually sunk in yet,” said Paragas, who graduated summa cum laude in April this year from the Colegio de Dagupan here.
Paragas garnered 92.86 percent to top the exams given this month by the Professional Regulation Commission Board of Accountancy. <<Click here to Read More>>

CPA exam topnotcher’s secret? Read and pray
DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines –Twenty-year-old Ralley Paragas, who hails from Barangay Tambac in this city, told The STAR yesterday that while he expected to be in the top 10 in the certified public account (CPA) licensure examination administered earlier this month, being number one among the 5,468 board passers was a big bonus.
There were 13,317 accounting graduates who took the examination.
